What a hoot!!! Mardi is the life of the party...and the pasture. She is a fine singer and the most nosey gal on the place. Everyone loves her!
She is a patterned alpaca with little difference in the fiber qualities (described on the next page) between her white and black sections. With that she not only provides diversity in color for the fiber spinner but also a great opportunity for blending!
Her mother, Olympia's Autumn, has been an outstanding foundation female for the Red Moon Alpaca Ranch. She is 3/4 Peruvian and a granddaughter of both Drambuie and Peruvian Gold Rush with genetic champions on both sides. The sire, Axtion Jaxon's Midnight Calypso, has an amazing show history ad retired with first place in his MAAS class being named true black Color Champion.
We will be breeding Miss Mardi for a Spring 2010 cria and expect much!
