If you're looking for a herdsire that you can build your herd and business around, we are now offering our Peruvian herdsire, Don Montero, for sale. He's a solid, breeding male, having produced many exceptional offspring, including our own Honey Bee and Vixen. He remarkably improves upon the quality of the dam, producing finer, more consistent fleeces with more character and staple length with a higher yield. Also, Montero's VERY easy to handle, a breeder with manners!

In addition to his notable fleece, Montero's a really handsome male with a beautiful "Peruvian" head, short muzzle and full topknot. He has heavy bone and solid, muscular conformation. We are seeing his easy-going personality passed down to cria after cria.

Ovation's an impressive fellow who's healthy and vibrant. He's a natural-born leader, exhibiting a lot of presence and calm confidence. The first thing you'll notice about his fleece is the load of character and crimp consistently distributed throughout his prime fleece, neck and leg areas. He is a fading fawn, starting at medium fawn on his topline, to a light fawn at mid-side. With a lot of color in his background, we're looking forward to seeing what exciting crias he'll throw.

At the Oklahoma show, Freedom was placed in a class of 14 white males and won first place! He went on to receive the Reserve Color Champion. He placed fourth behind a Poseidon son (Color Champion) and Crescent moon. Judge Charlene Friedman appreciated his bright, dense fleece with good crimp and bundling. Most recently, he took thrid in a class of 14 top competitors and was the apple of lots of eyes among breeders who attended Alpacas in the Ozarks. His show blanket from the April 07 shearing just took first place in October, 2007, at the VAOBA show!

He is full Peruvian and ARI registered.

Two of our girls were easily bred to Freedom for a Fall, 2008 cria.
